If YOU ONLY KNEW

Hi There!

I’m writing to you from 35,000 feet in the air, having finally gotten on standby after spending hours at John Wayne Airport in Anaheim, California, hoping to catch a flight home to Dallas after my original flight was cancelled due to bad weather. Been there?

By the time you read this, I’ll be back home in Dallas with my sweet baby girl after spending four amazing days in California at Keller Williams’ annual Family Reunion event.

My brain is on information overload and I’m looking forward to downloading all the amazing content and sharing some of it with you, along with some exciting news, in next week’s post!

With that said, and considering my flight is about to land, I’m going to keep today’s post short-n-sweet.

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of recording another podcast episode with Jamie Ivey, as well as going to her book launch event in Dallas to celebrate her new book, If You Only Knew.

I’m so thankful to her for the opportunity and platform she’s given me, through her highly successful The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey podcast, to share my story and help get my message out to so many others.

In keeping with the theme of the book, she asked me in our latest podcast recording if I’d be willing to share a particular season or time of struggle in my life I may have never shared with others out of fear of what people might think of me if they only knew the whole story.

Today I’m sharing a link to the show where I talk about how I learned to trust others, open up and share, and how God’s been moving in my life since that time.

*Side note*: I was really nervous to talk about this time in my life publicly because it was so personal and sensitive. Sharing it made me feel vulnerable, but since the podcast has aired and people have reached out to me, I realized the importance of sharing our challenges openly and honestly. Doing so has the power to positively impact others. My hope and prayer is when you listen to this episode, you will feel encouraged and not so alone.
